It seems Christmas miracles do happen! We hope you’re all enjoying a lovely festive break, here’s an update direct from Andy for you to enjoy with your mince pie:
“After a month in hospital, and another month-plus in rehabilitation hospital, I have managed to wrangle myself out and off back home, in time for Christmas (and beyond), and for the continued “third stage” of home-stay rehabilitation. Yes, exercise continues still in earnest. I have still yet to be able to walk alone unaided, and my vision is still doubled. But I hope to one day soon regain my balance, and take on the world again!
Meanwhile. my humbled appreciation for Cris and Vinyl Hearts, and especially for each and everyone’s efforts and support ~ they have meant much more than I have ever given credit for. Rehab continues and I hope to catch up with you guy soon! Have a Blessed Christmas and Brand New Year, Everyone!

Update from Cindy
Cindy thanks everyone that’s sent kinda gifts, cards and packages of all kinds to Andy and wanted to offer a short update:

“[As you may have realised] Andy’s has been twittering almost daily now and gets about an hour per day of online-fix. We upload pictures every now and then in his facebook gallery.
So far he’s still making slow progress with the rehab. He is able to walk and stand for a few minutes with the aid of a 4-leg walking frame but has to stop any activity as soon as his frequent dizzy spells set in. Small victories and we anticipate more progress as his rehab picks up over time.
The days are getting long in the hospital; it will be a month tomorrow Tuesday since the stroke. The family is looking forward to a change of scenery for him - updates soon!
